Side surfaces of the knives are fine ground. Circular knives are made of forged tool or high speed steels. The knives are hardened all over the cross section and tempered to the hardness witch complies to the type of application. The knives are designed for longitudinal diving of strips made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, paper, plastics, textiles, etc.
